Yann Kee
Soprano
Yann was born in Malaysia, and is a graduate of the University of Western Australia, majoring in Vocal Performance.

Yann was awarded numerous vocal prizes in Malaysia, and continued her success in Perth, where she won numerous awards at the North Perth Music Festival, and competitions with the Western Australian Music Teachers Association.

Concert appearances include recitals and concerts in Western Australia, performing as a soloist in Mozart's Solemn Vespers, Credo Mass, Coronation Mass, Handel's Messiah, Vivaldi's Magnificat, Charles Villiers Stanford's Magnificat and also appearances with the Australian Opera Studio in productions of The Marriage of Figaro, Tancredi and Die Fledermaus. Yann recently played the role of Princess Mi in The Land of Smiles with the Gilbert and Sullivan Society of WA.

Yann was selected to be a 2008 Emerging Artist for the Lieder Society of Western Australia (now known as Art Song Perth) and in this capacity appeared regularly in the Society's 2008 recital series.

Yann teaches singing at Perth College and Corpus Christi College. In addition, she has her own private singing studio 'Connecsion' which continues to produce many successful examination and competition candidates.
