Lachlann Lawton
Baritone

Lachlann Lawton is a young Perth born baritone who completed his Bachelor of Music (Classical Performance - Vocal) in 2014 and in now studying a Graduate Diploma of Music (Classical Voice) at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts. He has performed solo, and in choirs since the age of seven.

In 2007 Lachlann was awarded the Most Promising Young Voice Award at the Bunbury Eisteddfod.

In 2012 Lachlann started training in classical voice under the tuition of Patricia Price.

In 2014 Lachlann received the highest mark in classical voice for his end of year Graduation Recital.

He has performed in Hermann Götz's The Taming of the Shrew under the direction of Chuck Hudson; as Giorgio in Luigi Ricci's La serva e l'ussero, directed by Brendan Hanson; Professor Bhear in Mark Adamo's Little Women, directed by Adam Mitchell and as Peter in Engelbert Humperdinck's Hansel and Gretel, directed by Thomas de Mallet Burgess.
