Claire Condipodero
Claire Condipoderowas born in Perth. She has completed an Advanced Diploma of Music, Bachelor of Music and a Graduate Diploma of Music at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, and is currently studying under the guidance of Patricia Price.

While studying at WAAPA, notable roles for Claire included Tylney Long and Princess Caraboo (understudy) in Malcolm Williamson’s English Eccentrics, Anne Trulove in Stravinsky’s The Rakes Progress, the Countess in an English adaptation of The Marriage of Figaro, the Widow in Mendelssohn’s Elijah, andBianca in the Australian premiere of Goetz’s opera The Taming of the Shrew, directed by New York based Chuck Hudson. She also performed as a soloist in Rossini’s oratorio Stabat Mater.

In October 2011 Claire had the honour of singing the Australian national anthem at the opening ceremony of the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in Perth, before Queen Elizabeth II and other world leaders. 

Also in 2011 Claire won the Vocal Open Championship, Classical Vocal Solo, Sacred Song and the Most Outstanding Senior Vocalist at the North of Perth Music Festival. In the 2012 North of Perth Music Festival, she won the Operetta/Music Theatre Open, Vocal Duet Open, and the Most Outstanding Senior Vocalist.

Claire is currently completing her Graduate Diploma of Education, while pursuing her ambition and dream of becoming a successful opera singer.
